The People's Choice
Fiber Arts Exhibition

Celebrating the beauty and versatility of alpaca fiber, the People’s Choice Fiber Arts Exhibition will be held in conjunction with AlpacaFest West, the premier Southern California alpaca show and event.

November 14-15, 2009
Industry Hills Expo Center

Fiber enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to participate in this popular event!
ANYONE CAN ENTER! ♦ ENTRY IS FREE!
RIBBONS will be awarded to the winners!

How To Enter:
  • There is NO ENTRY FEE or form to fill out! Enter up to 6 items per artist.
  • Bring entries to the Fiber Arts table in the AFW arena entrance on Friday from 12-5pm or Saturday 8-10am. An AFW volunteer will log in your entry.
  • Items should be left for display until noon on Sunday.
  • Projects must be picked up by 2pm, Sunday.
  • Voting will end at 6pm, Saturday, Nov. 14.
  • The People's Choice winning results will be announced at the Saturday Evening Social and during the halter show on Sunday.
Rules:
  • Entries must consist of minimum of 50% alpaca fiber. Commercially prepared fiber may be used in the project, but commercially constructed entries will not be accepted. (You can purchase fiber for the project, but cannot submit something that has been manufactured.)
  • All types of fiber arts projects will be accepted for exhibit: Knit, Crochet, Woven, Felt, Skeins*, etc.
  • *Skeins must be hand-spun, can be natural or dyed, at least 100 yards, & tagged with its potential use.
  • Projects must be picked up by 2pm, Sunday.
